Most people think of a wedding in the Caribbean when they hear the phrase, “destination event.” However, lots of other events are even better when held in a sunny – or snowy, depending on your preference – locale. Retirement parties, corporate retreats, bachelorette weekends, and other events may need to be planned in a city other than your own.

Destination Wedding

Wherever you decide to hold a destination event, simply choosing a non-local venue adds another layer of planning and to-do’s that you would not have faced at home. However, there’s no need to add more stress to the process. Continue reading 5 Tips for Planning a Successful Destination Event

bulk video greetingsInviter provides a pretty amazing video greetings and email service for businesses to use externally with customers and internally with employees. You also read a lot from me about humanizing your brand, creating a one-on-one video experience, and being more genuine. Inviter lets businesses do all that. But there comes a point when you need to decide whether you create one video for one person or bulk video greetings and emails. I haven’t addressed that yet and now I will.

The reality is that creating one custom video isn’t always feasible. So when is it profitable and worth your time and budget?

  • It’s worth it when you have a really loyal customer who will come back and spend money. Or perhaps you have a handful of customers that are like that. Chose your top spenders and celebrate their birthday with a video birthday greeting. Send them special holiday video emails, etc.  Let’s face it. If you’re going to get a return by doing one thing, you’re going to do it.
  • You have a product that you really want to sell and you know the perfect couple of customers who will love it and buy it. Address the customer by name in the video, show the product, and you’re set.
  • It’s slow and you need to drum up some sales. You can make time to create custom video newsletters for customers who spend money, are social influencers, and spread around buzz like wild fire.
  • For brand ambassadors who love your business so much, they’re waiting for more news to share with their base.

Then there are times when it’s more appropriate to shoot bulk video greetings and newsletters.

  • You have a large list. You define large. But I would venture to say that if you have more than 20 on your list, bulk is probably a better option…and more feasible.
  • You and your management team, not to forget to mention your marketing team is strapped for time.
  • There are too many products to pick a handful that will appeal to just one customer.
  • Budget is tight and there is no way you can spend time and money shooting just one video for one customer.

Choosing to shoot one video greeting or bulk video greetings is up to you. Either way, Inviter has you covered. Video is going to be big in 2015. Decide what’s best for you and sign up with Inviter today.

Thanksgiving or Thanksgiving Day has been a custom since 1863 and celebrated annually. The first thanksgiving was celebrated in 1621 by the pilgrims(Plymouth settlers) after their first harvest in the new world as a token of thanks to god for his blessings. During the time of Abraham Lincoln as United States President, announced a national day of Thanksgiving to be celebrated on last Thursday of November month every year.

If there is one day in a year, where friends and family get together for a special meal, it is Thanksgiving. It’s a day filled with emotions implied in everyone’s life. Certain foods are traditionally served in this special meal. Of which, roasted turkey is a featured item in any thanksgiving meal. Mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, sweet corn, pumpkin pie are also served in Thanksgiving meal.

Apart from Thanksgiving meals, this day goes on with parades in some cities and towns. Christmas shopping season starts with these celebrations. American football is also an important part of Thanksgiving celebrations.

This is the one festival, where family members and friends from different parts of the world unite to celebrate with joy and happiness. The one festival can’t be missed by anyone. Thanksgiving holiday weekend is one of the busiest travel day of the year, and few may not make it to their destinations on time.

Organize this Thanksgiving meal well and make it interesting by sending video invitations to the guests. You can use the previous years pictures or a simple video explaining the guests of what you are planning on. Once the Thanksgiving Day is complete, you can send a Video Thank You note to the guest list along with the videos/ pictures taken by you.

Today, one of the headlines caught my attention and made me think, “Angelina Jolie: Breasts Don’t Define Femininity”. Today’s news was really shocking to learn that Angelina went through a preventive double mastectomy. I am one of the billions of fans of Angelina Jolie, Hollywood’s highest-paid actress, a Goodwill Ambassador for United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and often cited as the world’s “most beautiful” woman. She is a very good actress in movies and incredible humanitarian with an open heart and as we all know she is truly emotional.

Today, she set another example of being a real hero and became an advocate for women’s preventive medicine. Obviously because the message is from Angelina, the message goes so far and gives lots of courage and inspiration to everyone who is suffering from breast cancer. She also mentioned Brad Pitt and his services and support during the surgery through which she informed the world about Breast Cancer and the importance of family support during the treatment. While taking the treatment she attended the UN conference and other humanitarian activities. I have created the below Video Greeting using Inwiter as a tribute and to take part to spread the message across.

I Would like to share the below-touching messages from Angelina, which really implied You can be a normal woman without natural breasts. You can be a normal woman with no breasts at all.

“On a personal note, I do not feel any less of a woman. I feel empowered that I made a strong choice that in no way diminishes my femininity.”

Angelina, You did it again. You are the most beautiful and brave woman living. Thank you for sharing your experiences and for being the advocate of preventive medicine for the millions of people who are suffering.
