Back in when I lived in St. Louis, St. Patrick’s Day was a pretty big deal. There were parties and all kinds of festivities. Well, St. Patrick’s Day is next week. If you haven’t already, you may want to get the party started this year a little differently. Create a one-of-a-kind, conversation starter now by shooting a video and then sending video invitations to all your friends to come join you while you drink green beer and enjoy corned beef and cabbage.
It’s not as difficult as it sounds. Creating video invitations is pretty easy. All you need a is smartphone and a computer. Either use footage from last year’s St. Patty’s day festivities or put on your green and lucky hat and shoot another. Be yourself and invite your friends and family to come join you.
Once you do that, create an account with Inviter.com, create an event, add the details, and email it to your guests. You’ll be able to see the opens and RSVPs too. It’s pretty self-explanatory once you get started.
Remember you can also shoot a St. Patty’s Day greeting too. Same steps involved as an invitation only different messaging.
Most people think of a wedding in the Caribbean when they hear the phrase, “destination event.” However, lots of other events are even better when held in a sunny – or snowy, depending on your preference – locale. Retirement parties, corporate retreats, bachelorette weekends, and other events may need to be planned in a city other than your own.
What’s one of the most important things to consider when managing an event? Yep, you guessed it: all those scattered details!
From coordinating dinners to managing guest registrations, there are so many event details that need to be managed and tracked. Fortunately, there are a ton of online event sites that will help you run a successful and smooth event.
Graduation is an exciting time to recognize the academic accomplishments of students, where a center of reflection and anticipation brings them closer to their future dreams. When a joyous time like this draws near, parents, friends, and family members race their way to see the graduation ceremony to commemorate the memorable day for their special someone.
In the 2005 Stanford University commencement speech from former CEO and entrepreneur of Apple, Steve Jobs; he openly spoke about his failures and success in working among the tech industry. He continued to deliver the speech about his personal struggle with cancer and how that affected his life. While this impressive tech entrepreneur have accomplished so much, he has also failed an immense amount. His inspiring speech continues with hopeful, but realistic wise words for graduates.
He stated, “Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma — which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”
While Steve Jobs brings inspiration and hope to students confused by the post-grad life, graduation should be seen as a milestone moment for applauding.
A milestone moment like this is meant to be captured and shared, and students everywhere want to highlight their accomplishments as students with a click of a camera. With technology soaring the modern world, you can do so by sharing your captured moments with your family and friends via video greetings.
Party Planning – either be it a birthday party, graduation party, thanksgiving or bachelor party, planning is common. That’s how a party can be organized successfully. But 4 W’s you can’t ignore while planning a party are
What is the date?
What is the location?
What is the party theme?
What is the budget?
Besides these 4 W’s, there are few more to be included in your checklist but you cannot move without answering these 4 W’s to yourself.
Date comes first in the line while planning, once date is fixed you can move on to party location and then the party theme. Finally you also need to set a budget to organize the party.
You can also follow few tips to smoothen your planning process. For date, pick one which is on a holiday or weekends so that your guest will show up. Possibly choose your house as the location for the party as its very convenient to you. Now you can fix a theme for all your guests. Finally and the most important one, before you end the planning process and start organizing you need to set your budget limit.
Save money on guest’s invitations by sending video invitations to all your guests. You can also give a personal touch to your video invitation by recording your own video message and sending to them via email.
